New Hybrid CTV
March 20, 2018
WMD relish getting involved with new innovative products and technology, and this innovative hybrid Wind Farm Crew Transfer Vessel design has been a fantastic project to develop.
We’ve spent months working with the team at AMC to deliver a vessel which boasts the same features as a CTV but with fuel savings of over 30%. The hybrid system will enable the CTV to have a 6-hour loitering at 5-8 knots on battery power alone, therefore offering savings on fuel and operating at zero emissions. WMD and AMC can also feature this series hybrid system into most of our existing design portfolio.
